Mary Anne & Elsie are amazing, super hosts! From the time you check in you are warmly welcomed and provided great tips on the area. The house is perfectly located on a private road and close to many outdoor activities. Lake Elmore is beautiful and Stowe, a short distance away. The views are breathtaking from the inside of the house and create the feeling the outdoors have come inside. Sitting on the porch was just as incredible. They have thought of everything and their attention to detail inspires!
One of best places I have stayed in last 50 years!

Beautiful and spotless home with an open floor plan making it spacious, yet so cozy with the upstairs fireplace. I absolutely love the large rows of windows on both floors which capture the stunning view of the mountains. It was a perfect weekend for the fall foliage. Great space to accommodate friends and family. Very nice patio area with a bbq grill. Set on a private road surrounded by beautiful woods where you can view the wildlife right from the front porch, on the comfortable rocking chairs. Elmore park is within a mile from the house, pretty lake with rustic boat house that offers public washrooms. The firetower hiking trail is a must see which you can access from Elmore state park. Maryanne & Elsie were great hosts and very responsive. The house had all amenities needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lake Elmore House. It has such a warm inviting feel with incredible views from every window. Mary Anne was a gracious host with delightful communication and helpful tips on area and Stowe. The house had everything we could have wanted to make our visit just like being at home. It was very comfortable with enough space for sleeping 5 and best of all a great yard for the kids to enjoy the snow and warm up by the fire with cocoa. We will definitely be returning for another stay as the locations is unbeatable!

New beautifully built home with spectacular mountain views! Seven of us were very comfortable. Cozy fireplace. Home has all amenities you want. The attention to detail in this home is well thought out. Easy check in and out. Convenient location to Stowe for skiing, restaurants etc. We had a wonderful family weekend! Would definitely rent again!

We had an amazing week long stay in Elmore. Location was absolutely perfect for our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed Lake Elmore, Elmore State Park, the Elmore General Store, and Catamount XC Trail -- which were all in super close proximity to the house. On top of that you have Montpelier, Stowe, and Hill Farmstead Brewery all just a short drive away. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need, privacy was perfect, and the home was clean as can be. I've stayed in a lot of homes in Vermont and this ranks up there with the best.

A new and well designed home in such a beautiful location! Our family of six had a wonderful winter vacation here while in Vermont. The home was bright with lots of natural light and beautiful views of the mountains. We visited in winter and the road and drive were well maintained and accessible with our AWD SUV. Our stay started with an effortless check in process and the attention to detail made our entire stay super smooth. We would definitely rent again!
"We had the most wonderful time! The house was beautiful and the abundant windows made it magical to wake up to the falling snow! We felt completely secluded but town was only a few minutes away. The house was immaculate but still perfect for us and our 4 young children with ages from 20 months to 9 years old. We made a huge sled track and I think I spent more hours sledding then they did! It brought me back to my childhood. The home was stocked with everything you needed at your fingertips. The kitchen was beautiful.
